The Ergotest™ Proctor program is the PC-based student-side testing application, and requires your students to have the following minimum system requirements on their computer:

• Operating System: Microsoft Windows 95 or later
• Internet Connection (high-speed or dial-up)
• Web Browser
• 128MB RAM
• 1 GB free hard drive space

Optional equipment - included with Ergotest™ system:

• Fingerprint scanner
• Web Camera

Editor

The Ergotest™ Editor program is the web-based examination designer application, is installed on your institution's web server, and requires your instructional designers to have the following minimum system requirements on their computer:

• Internet Connection (high-speed or dial-up)
• Web Browser

Server Requirements

To run the Ergotest™ platform (including the web-based Ergotest™ Administrator program), your institution must utilize the following:

• Microsoft Windows™ 2000 or 2003 Server+latest service packs
• 80 GB free space, 512 KB RAM
• Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000 or later (installed as per our instructions)
• Apache™ web server (included with installation program)
• Sun Java™ (included with installation program)

The Ergotest™ platform is completely configurable, and utilizes an exposed API via web services, so that clients can write custom applications to integrate with their Ergotest™ server.  Ergocentric Software provides complete installation support for Ergotest™ platform setup.
